The Success Anatomy Of Entrepreneur Chase Rogers !
Having graduated in 2013 with a degree in Kinesiology, where Chase Rogers specialized in sports management, he decided to venture into innovative marketing strategies. He says that the marketing strategies blended so well with the real estate sales that he was interested in after watching a show on Bravo called Million Dollar Listing.
In this article we ask Chase a few questions about business.
How did you make a name for yourself in your industry?
I made a name for myself by establishing a unique brand that people remember, “ChasingTheDeal.” I created high level marketing videos and put an intro (similar to James Bond) that catered towards my brand. I got into the luxury market early on leveraging my connections and offering more as a service (staging, video tour, 3d floor plans) which at the time were more obsolete. Most people were just doing photos in the Michigan market 5 years ago. I actually converted one of the highest “floor call” sales. At the start of my second year in sales I had floor time which means anyone who calls the office gets directed to my cell phone.
Most floor calls are leases or smaller deals since people typical are first time home buyers not working with an agent. Fortunately, I received a call for a family that was relocating and had an initial budget of $800k. It took about a year but we ended up closing on a home for north of 2M+. I am a firm believer that if you continue to put yourselves in the right positions like I did that day, luck has a way of finding you. I was able to leverage that sale to catapult me in the luxury market and use it as leverage to help establish credibility. Since then I’ve sold several homes from 2M-3M.
What obstacles did you face to get to where you are now?
Starting off I was a 23 years old with no sales. It is uphill climb as selling a home is a persons #1 asset and I am competing against people that have been in the industry for 10+ years. My biggest obstacle was establishing credibility and getting people to trust me at a young age.
How will you continue to grow and succeed?
I plan to continue to grow by ramping up my social media marketing. I continue to think of ways to elevate my marketing so people share and my page continues to grow. I plan to do a better job of reaching out to my clients on their birthdays, holidays, and anything special to enhance the client experience.
