Shabaz Ahmed, 24, has been currently involved in the home-based business industry for six years. When he started the business, he never enjoyed success. He was fresh from the government benefits; thus, he had no experience in the business. Things were only getting hard for him, but he knew that he had to persevere and be resilient if he ever wanted to be successful.

Obstacles

Shabaz shared that he faced a lot of obstacles on his journey to success but the biggest has to be believing that he would achieve the goals he set.

He had a lot of people around him who tried to pull him down with doubtful words. He also didn’t get the support he needed from friends and family members. Shabaz shares that as soon as he filtered the negative noise that was coming from every direction, he started seeing success in his dealings.

“Elevation requires separation so I started spending time with people that were going somewhere in life. I used to be around a lot of negative people and I decided to be around go-getters on a daily basis and this has transformed my personal growth and my business growth.” — Shabaz

Creating a Brand

For three years in the home-based business, Shabaz had not made any sort of money. It was not until he found successful mentors who taught me great ways to work. Luckily, he was teachable and coachable. He then decided to give what he had learned a try and dedicated three years to work tirelessly. He has sleepless nights and became obsessed with where he was going and wanted to be. In 7 months, he was already at a place where he was earning $10,000 a month. He then decided to scale his business even higher when he learned that everything was attainable.

Sharing Insight

He advises the upcoming to do what they can at the moment. He said that spending time thinking about what you need to do will only consume your time, and in the end, you will not have done or accomplished anything. Shabaz continues to advise the entrepreneurs to work without being distracted. He further advised that learning from mentors applies well if you had already begun your business.
