In this article we interview Ernesto Hernandez, the Artist who is known as Legacy.

What is your background Story Before Success?

I was born in Cuba, Santa Clara. With a half brother and lived in poverty as a child. I was always interested in music since I was 5 years old and have always kept it to myself until I was old enough to start rapping at the age of 16–17. I was doing my own freestyles and melodies. I later on got involved in starting my own businesses when I turned 20 years old. I later than realized it wasn’t as easy as some people thought. I wanted to give up multiple times, but my reason why (my mother) kept me 10 toes down and helped me persevere and become successful through tears, blood and sweat.

Can you tell us your “come up” story?

I was struggling with debts. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and decided it was time for a change. Working endless days and nights on someone else’s business I realized I didn’t want to live paycheque to paycheque anymore. I then started my own business ventures and I then decided I would not work for anyone else, I would tackle my goals and dreams and help others along the way. I will inspire those to do more and become great by sharing my experiences and leading by example.

What inspired you to become successful?

Other successful people, celebrities such as artists and actors. I’ve always seen myself as someone who inspires and motivates others and lives his best life by living it up to the fullest. And the only way to do that is to become successful in whatever I set my mind to.

What challenges have you faced as a young Entrepreneur?

I have faced losing myself a few times, thinking I was chasing something that couldn’t be attained, Wishing and hoping for people to believe and help me. I failed a few business ventures in my life and ended up homeless, sleeping in my van at the time in mid January. I faced endless nights without sleep and hardships, tears and suicidal thoughts to end it all. But at the end of the tunnel there is always a way out and success happens to those who work hard for it and never give up on themselves.

What have you been able to achieve during your entrepreneurial journey?

I’ve achieved knowledge beyond belief, a stronger will power, financial freedom, mental and spiritual; strength. Belief that anything can be possible for as long as I set my mind to it and work hard on myself, goals and dreams.

What do you do with your free time?

I write music, watch movies, workout, I work on myself by reading personal development books. I learn and try to become a better version of myself today than I ever was yesterday. I follow up with friends and family and stay in touch with my clients for my businesses.
