Interview With Serial Entrepreneur and Award Winning Consultant Cris Cawley

What exactly does your company do?

We help entrepreneurs scale their businesses by publishing and leveraging a bestselling book. Becoming a bestseller creates authority and allows the author to generate revenue on the backend by speaking, coaching and consulting.

What keeps you motivated?

The continued success of our clients. So many authors come to us dejected and jaded about the publishing process. There is no better feeling than seeing a client realize that they CAN do it. That it doesn’t have to be such a struggle to publish a bestseller. I think it really empowers them and that feeling never gets old.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Open your mind to creating and publishing. As I mentioned before, belief is a powerful motivator. We can certainly make the process easier, but our most successful clients are those who are not afraid to put in the work needed to reach a life-changing level of success.

What inspired you to pursue coaching, book publishing which led to your overall success?

I’ve always had that entrepreneurial spirit in pursuing my own personal success. I think if you asked most successful people they would agree it starts there. You can’t be afraid of someone telling you, “No.” You can’t be afraid of failure. Winners have failed more times than they’ve succeeded, but moving on and using that failure as motivation is what truly separates the “haves” and the “have nots” in the business world. You control how successful you can be.

What challenges have you faced as a young Entrepreneur?

Book publishing & marketing, especially online, it is a maze. It’s taken me years of trial and error and refining our process to get to the place Game Changer Publishing is today.
