Who is Sandy Mackay?
Sandy worked a few odd jobs when he moved to Australia in 2010 after pursuing a golf career. Once he met his wife Katie, they simultaneously became excited about real estate and the amazing potential in the industry. They attended a few weekend seminars and began to develop relationships with investors in the industry. Together, they worked day and night in an attempt to put together creative real estate investment deals. Beside their day jobs, they would work on this as well before finding a way to put together a few deals and earn enough to purchase their first investment property at the age of 26. They decided to pursue real estate even further once realizing how much power owning 1 property had when their first property had appreciated quickly.
2014 was the year Sandy made the smartest decision, finding a mentor and working alongside them daily to build on his real estate knowledge and skills. In doing so, he learned to work hard, follow a schedule, and in the span of a short 2 years, he felt as if he had gained over 10 years worth of experience. This then taught him the power of his environment and the people you surround yourself with makes. Sandy was able to sell 50 houses within 2 years, and eventually had the courage to launch his own real estate team to pursue his own goals. He was starting from scratch but through his real estate podcast, they were able to build up a good following. Thus, his personal brand began to grow, and through the support of Keller Williams, collaborations with other top teams, and a desire to constantly grow his mindset and skills, he started to develop a solid team. Fast forward 5 years, and he has been able to build up 4 multi million dollar businesses and acquired 200+ rental units since then. He’s also just launched his brokerage Keller Williams Legacies Realty in Vaughan, Ontario.

Within Sandys business, they primarily focus on helping others build their version of generational wealth. This means helping them add multiple income streams and leverage to their life so they can make money while they sleep. Sandy then includes that the financial wealth can be used to live out their own unique vision of a wealthy life.

Sandys company helps realtors transition from sales people to business owners, enabling them to grow within their career. He then mentions that this is done through several ways. A few examples of these are coaching them to set goals, create leverage, understand financial statements, and attract talent to help with their mission. This is done in order to help clients transition to bigger and better things, guiding them into the right direction to achieve their goals.

Sandy is confident he will continue to grow and succeed because his company is constantly adding new systems, models, and people to their team in order to support their realtors and teams to grow. They put an emphasis on getting into business with great people. Sandy then includes that the more great people they attract, the better they are able to continue their growth. Thus, helping others achieve the same greatness.
