How Neil Canlas Carved His Path In Real Estate

Leading By Example

Along with his brother and business partner, Daryll, Neil started and co-owns multi-million dollar producing companies in the real estate space. Owning both a real estate flipping and development company and a real estate brokerage, Neil provides leadership to their teams and consistently strives to achieve goals.

The two brothers started from nothing. Neil and Daryll have successfully started and excelled in their real estate businesses. Neil believes that he is just getting started and will never stop inspiring and empowering others around him. Leadership, to him, is the cornerstone of any successful business.

Impacting Lives

I asked Neil just exactly how his business helps others, and he said:

“A lot of our employees make well over 6 figures a year. We are able to help our people be successful and provide for their families. The main goal is to make millionaires around me. If we can make our employees millionaires, then we will all elevate each other and we will make a direct impact in our employees’ lives.”

It’s pretty clear by this answer that Neil and his brother place a very high value on impacting the lives of everyone around them, and leaving a lasting legacy.

Neil continues by saying, “We purchase, rehab, and sell homes. We also own a real estate brokerage with 10 full-time real estate agents. We started with nothing and built the business with our own two hands.”

Continued Success

I asked Neil how he and his brother plan to continue growing and succeeding, to which he replied: “By never stopping. We will never quit. We are always thinking of being bigger and better, helping more people, and touching as many lives as we can.”

It’s easy to see that these guys are living by the “build it and they will come” mantra, and they sure are building it.

Parting Advice

In closing, I asked Neil what his one piece of advice would be to someone new to his industry. Here is what he had to say:

“Get a coach. Don’t be afraid to spend the money. Find the right coach, not just anybody. Find the right person that has reached the goals you are seeking to accomplish. Find mentors and advisors. It is perfectly fine to not know everything, but it is your job to find the answers. The answers are within our people, and it’s your job to find those people that are willing to help you. You’d be surprised at how many people out in this world want to help others.”
