In his teens, Frederico Panetta signed a major deal with grocery and convenience stores across Eastern Canada and the US distributing his hybrid energy drink product. He has operated a publishing company, a music production label, and now is growing his empire further with his 150K square foot factory in Montreal, Canada, Gould Industries.
He has a waste management firm that runs 24/7. It recycles more than 25 million kgs of plastic yearly and converts it to private brand products made for retailers.
Their personal care division is also taking the poll position signing an international agreement with world-renowned brands.
On the medical side, they have been protecting their community by manufacturing and supplying all protective gear to hospitals and retailers across North America & beyond.
Obstacles Being Faced Currently
We all know in the beginning of the pandemic, many businesses experienced a slow down. The case was no different for Frederico, but he endured everything as he adjusted his mindset to learn more things in the hard times. Thus, as most businesses were shutting down, he learned and put up strategies to ensure growth amid the pandemic, breaking records and progressing further in his industry.
Staying Motivated
Frederico puts it clear that money is not among his motivation factors. Instead, growth is the main incentive. He loves seeing a business grow as it makes him feel secure that they are working on meaningful things and headed in the right direction.
Advice To The Startups
He advised startups to walk in a straight line and avoid shortcuts because they often lead to dishonest practices that come back to bite you down the line. He said that honesty is the only way to go because your reputation follows you everywhere you go.
