Economist & Entrepreneur Anthony Williams on Becoming the Numbers Guy Within His Industry

Anthony Williams is a famous personality in the Forex and investing industry today. He became a successful Economist & Entrepreneur after he experienced many life difficulties such as being an ex foster child, a drug dealer, and a college drop out. He was raised by his grandmother “Nanny” in Twin-Cities of Saint Paul-Minneapolis after his mom and dad left him. Throughout his entire life, he knew that he had this passion for numbers within him. His secret love for risk/reward and the game of numbers gave him the chance to start over and eventually make a name as a Trader in the financial markets.

Williams, known as the “Numbers Guy” in his industry, underwent a lot of ups and downs before he finally earned the title he deserved. He didn’t understand what it meant to be a leader in his industry, let alone be the “Numbers Guy” everyone talks about. Anthony became a student and found a perfect mentor who contributed to a lot of his Forex Trading success. He didn’t realize that while remaining a student he was getting the fruits of his hardship through a modest income and cash-flowing assets. Becoming the “Numbers Guy” is a fascinating story, and it wouldn’t be as prevalent as today if he had not undergone all these things.

What it means to be the “Numbers Guy”

“Defining what it means to be ‘The Numbers guy’ is a tough question.” He says, Williams didn’t know what it meant to be named as the “Numbers Guy” in his industry until he realized that the name itself represented his love for learning as an intellect, rather than the title representing a position. Being in a single sector is a limitation. As an entrepreneur, Anthony is involved in a variety of industries. His sector depends on what type of investment he is attending to. “Honestly, it just depends on the deal. But I’m open minded.” He says while he explains what else he does outside of trading in the (Forex) Foreign Exchange Market.

The term “Numbers Guy” is a reflection of Williams’ ability as an inside sophisticated investor. Using his knowledge on corporate tax, corporate credit, and corporate law, he has this talent to discover what he calls ‘hidden profits’, on top of the profits already earned. This talent led him to launch his first enterprise called “Foreign Profits.” His substantial knowledge and strong financial education made him what he is now. What it means to be the “Numbers Guy” is the knowledge and value he can bring to almost all industries in the market, “based on the numbers”.

Mentorship & Becoming A Student

Before Williams became a successful entrepreneur, he had to face the reality of being mentored by different people. Among all his mentors, a man named Mr. Adam Lee was the one who brought value to him by becoming his very first mentor. Their relationship grew and eventually Williams began to refer to Mr. Adam Lee as his “Rich Dad”, referencing to the similar story of the great businessman and mogul Robert Kiyosaki. “And it was all because my older brother Vontrail told him he had a nice car.” Williams says, as he describes how he met his mentor.

Becoming a student is not as easy as everyone makes it seem. Williams had only one rule that he had to follow in order to be mentored by Mr. Adam Lee; and that was that he needed to read the exact books and study the exact topics that Mr. Adam Lee told him to read. For as long as Anthony was under the mentorship of his mentor, Anthony was adamant about following the one single rule that he’d been given. The only thing that would end he and his mentor’s student/mentor relationship was the very moment he makes an excuse, or disagrees with taking the next step he was instructed to take.

The Fruits Of Hardship

The fruits of hardship are hard to receive, especially if the perseverance and hard work are not enough. In the early entrepreneur life of Williams, he didn’t make as much as he’s making right now. He started to get the fruits of his hard work in early 2019 when he bought his first nice car. This was the start of his early sacrifices paying off.

He bought his first 2014 AMG Package Mercedes CLA class car, which he said was the color “Corporate Grey.” He put “FOREXXX” on its plates to proudly show that he is driving the fruit of his hardship. In December of 2019 at the end of the year, his company “Foreign Profits’ ‘ earned $28,000 in a single month. At the same time, he became a well established A-List Board Certified Credit Consultant. These are a few notable reflections of his success as the “Numbers Guy.”

Williams’ success wouldn’t be possible without his unique title, the “Numbers Guy.” He wouldn’t be a great entrepreneur if he didn’t meet one of his mentors Mr. Adam Lee, who served as his mentor while he was still learning about the world of business. Without hard work and perseverance, he wouldn’t be able to buy and achieve what he wants for himself. You can become a better version of yourself too, and in time, give yourself a name in the industry if you are eager to go through life challenges like what Williams did.
